The collard greens were frequently praised for their impeccable seasoning, a nostalgic nod to grandma’s kitchen.

“ I decided to check out the Packing District and it's so much better now. Weekends here are lively and I stumbled across Georgia's; which serves various southern dishes. I wasn't too hungry so I had the chili Mac & Cheese - while it wasn't worth what I paid for, it was still decent and the service was great! It was a little watery and the Mac & Cheese lacked a bit of salt but nevertheless it was good! ”
“ My family and I did an impromptu visit to Disneyland and California Adventure because my son wanted to do something fun with our family since he was on Spring Break. After enjoying quality family time trying new and old rides, walking around both parks, and grubbing, we had built up an appetite and were ready to eat dinner. We initially planned to eat at a fave fast casual restaurant, but my son wanted a better ambience, so we decided to see what food choices we could find at Anaheim Packing House. So blessed we decided to check out the restaurants at the food hall. My entire family loved what we each selected at Georgia's, which is a must visit if you're a Southern food connoisseur. Georgia's specializes in Southern comfort food and I was excited that it resided in the Anaheim Packing House. If you haven't visited this food hall, it's a one stop shop housing a variety of food choices to satisfy whatever your stomach desires. If you're visiting the Walt Disney Company parks, it's not too far away and it's the perfect place if your family has different cravings. There is free parking and valet parking for a fee, but I suggest you visit at early dinner before the parking gets packed. Georgia's is one of many eateries inside the Packing House, which has two levels of places you can dine at. The Packing House is across from 18 Folds Asian Fusion restaurant and to check out all the food establishments, just pass the two giant white roosters through the sliding glass doors. Georgia's is on the top floor heading to your left. There are approximately 8 table/chairs settings, there are classy light fixtures, and a distressed wooden flooring. On the walls of the restaurant are framed articles lauding the food at Georgia's. For the most part, the customer service was noteworthy, which I received from the young Hispanic male server who checked on us, but I took 1/2 a star for the robotic customer service I received from the Black gentleman who took my order. When I was stationed in Georgia, I always appreciated the Southern hospitality I received, which I thought I'd experience at Georgia's. Yelp doesn't allow you to give half star ratings, so Georgia's gets the much clamored for 5-star rating because their food deserves the top rating. I've been a Southern food fan ever since I was stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia. Georgia's has all of the Southern food staples that I fondly remember. After having difficulty trying to decide what I wanted to munch on, I settled on Gretchen's Jambalaya, a side of Collard Greens, and to wash it all down, I ordered their Sweet Tea. Gretchen's Jambalaya is made with sautéed shrimp, andouille sausage and chicken, Creole tomato based roux, a grilled butter toast, and a generous amount of Cajun rice. The tomato based roux was rich, divine, and with the right amount kick that wasn't that spicy, but spicy enough to be memorable. The jambalaya had a generous amount of protein and complemented the roux and rice. My dish was hearty, filling, and so delicious. I wish there was more of that toast to dip in the roux. You can choose what type of rice, but I highly recommend the Cajun rice. I love collard greens and Georgia's could be one of the best I've ever eaten. They were cooked perfectly, had a good amount of meat, and I savored every bite. Do not pass on the complimentary corn bread with the honey butter. That free starter got my palate ready for the other scrumptious food. Georgia's sweet tea reminded me of the sweet tea from the state of Georgia. It was refreshing, addicting, and there are refills. I'm so thankful and Praise God for the quality family time spent with my kiddos. What made it even more remarkable was the Southern comfort food we got to indulge in at Georgia's. ”
“ recently had the pleasure of enjoying a catered lunch from Georgia's Soul Food, and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat! The food was fresh, flavorful, and downright delicious. We had a spread that included crispy fried chicken, tender pulled pork, creamy mac and cheese, savory collard greens, a refreshing mixed salad, cornbread that was perfectly moist, and cake (which I didn't get a chance to try, but I've heard great things). I tasted everything except the cake, and every bite was packed with flavor--each dish was a standout in its own right. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, while the pulled pork melted in my mouth. The mac and cheese had that perfect creamy texture, and the collard greens were cooked to perfection with just the right balance of flavor. The cornbread was soft and slightly sweet--truly a comforting side dish to round out the meal. Having enjoyed the catered lunch so much, I can't wait to visit one of their locations in person to experience even more of their amazing dishes. Highly recommend Georgia's for anyone craving authentic, mouthwatering soul food. You won't be disappointed! ”
“ What a wonderful experience. Everyone was so pleasant. And the food was amazing. I had the slathered pork chops. I thought the prices were reasonable, considering the experience and the food quality. ”
“ ABSO-FRIGGIN-LUTELY DELICIOUS! I had ended my day teaching my teen patrons about Black History through music with some incredible Soul Food. Since February is Black History Month, I wanted to patronize a Black-owned business, and I am so grateful and happy I found this incredible piece of heaven. I ordered the BBQ Chicken plate with Mac and Cheese and Potato Salad. Ya'll, I destroyed that bird. The boyfriend ordered a Chicken Sandwich, and while it was delicious, I could see the look of jealousy on his face. I am excited to try the Fried Chicken and OMG! They have Fried Green TOMATOES! The last time I had Fried Gree Tomatoes was when I was Louisville, Kentucky. The prices are moderate, but, considering the quality, that plate was worth $25. I am so looking forward to my next visit so please have a plate of bengets ready for me! You'll find me in the stretchy pants with a bib. ”
“ Food was delicious. My favorite was the collard greens. Service was quick. Did an online order pick up and was ready right on time. The ambiance was very nice! ”
“ I did not know they opened another Georgia's at Irvine Spectrum, but I'm glad they did! I stopped by to try out this spot in honor of Black history month and wow am I glad I did. Yelp said their fried chicken and smothered pork chops are their popular dishes so you best believe I got both. I love that their plates comes with 2 premium sides so you truly get a whole meal. I got a total of four sides: baked beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, and garlic fries. I was blown away by how big the portions were! My favorite sides were definitely the baked beans and garlic fries. The fries were so crispy and the baked beans were a perfectly blend of sweet and savory. The fried chicken had a great crunch and good tasty seasoning. I was more so impressed with the pork chops. I don't eat pork chops often, but these were smothered in a flavorful gravy and the pork itself was cooked very well! This location is order at the front, get a number, and they'll bring it out to you. The guy at the register was super friendly and offered us some recommendations. I really liked that they have an indoor and outdoor space which was great because we brought our pup and was able to sit outdoor. ”
“ This is the first time I went to this restaurant. I went to the location in Irvine and was instantly greated by the owner. She was very sweet and described the different items on the menu. The food came out quick at about 10ish mins. The food was delicious and surpased expectations. Very warm environment and staff was very attentive. Needless to say my family will be going back. ”
